The Logo of YKT : the "logic" behind the creative!!
Till now you all know that YKT has Kokoro in it. You also know by now that Kokoro means a symphony of heart, spirit, soul & mind. Its a balance of all. Doesn't it sound very soft, calm, peaceful and balanced? We are sure it does.
You might be thinking that how come, such a Technology company have such a traditional logo and that too so bold, so strong colors, so thick fonts, a tiger. It doesn't match with the calmness & spirituality of Japanese Kokoro in YKT.
Let us help understand the "logic" behind the creative.
Well, yes the logo design is traditional. Even though we are a technology company, we decided not to create a hi-fi or futuristic logo only.
Our beliefs are backed up by strong foundations of Science. We are firmly grounded in fact-based research & development. YKT stands for strong pillars of confidence, integrity, commitment & value system. This is visible in the strong alphabets of YKT. We decided to use abbreviation as we know its easy for our customers to remember it and use it in discussion often, very smoothly.
YKT, YKT, YKT..... This brand name can keep flowing in our customers talks with ease. Just visualise, how will it look outside the shops, the showrooms, the big banners on the way to the airport, on big hoardings in the city center.
Now you guessed it right, our creative decided to use Red color in YKT so that the logo is visible from a far off distance, even from a kilometer.
No matter how small the logo size can be, our costoner can find it out on product label so easily.
Traditionally as graphic designer, the experts say that the best way to remember a logo is to have a unique font with an easily memorable picture.
We decided to choose a picture for YKT. The Tiger was chosen keeping in mind that YKT shall be the boss of the jungle, the wild cat, the tiger shall always be ahead of others. It shall leap frog the competition at an unimaginable pace. The wild cat, tiger is always spotted alone. No other animal dares to question the supremacy of the wild cat animal.
That is the perceived image of YKT.
Now you would question that why the tiger is inside the circle (sphere). It a large dot, like a bindi on the forehead.
The large sphere or a dot or a circle, whatever way the creative can be perceived & visualised signifies the signatures of the work done by YKT. Its products. Solutions, services are all high class, ahead of time. These are firm statements on ground. Whether it is in terms of the quality & grade of Nano materials being used, or the robustness of design, engineering & application, whatever YKT says & does, its with full command.
The YKT is the sarkaar of Nanotech sector.
Well who did the graphics for YKT. Its Rajnish Sharma #RDS himself. Earlier we have worked with graphic designers and have always struggled to convey the message to the creative teams. #RDS has been weaving the DNA of YKT, so his entire thought process of what YKT is and shall be, has been utilised beautifully by him to draft the creative of the logo.
Another aspect he explained is that of the color. Why YKT logo is red in default. He says it represents energy, the life energy. It represents the responsible aggression of YKT. Deep inside, it resembles the bindo of Devi Shakti. As we all know, life is all about Energy only, about channelising the positive energy of people.
YkY's real strength is its people in the supply chain and most importantly, its customers.
Right from beginning, YKT boldly decided to pass the entire benefit to the end customer, so it adopted the direct to customer strategy only. While it values in partners, but believes that let the entire benefit be accrued to a customer at a fraction of earnings to YKT.
YKT shall be a first Unicorn of Nanotech sector surpassing all startups . This confidence comes from the value system of passing the entire benefits to the customer only. The most critical part of our business process is customer only. YKT decided not to do any major marketing & spend much money over it. By saving the entire costs, it now expects its customer to perform their role and ensure that their friends, neighbora, relatives, family members, etc all use YKT product series only. YKT decided to bank on word on mouth marketing only.
YKT shall become a Unicorn but much before that it shall make our customer feel like a Tiger, a Unicorn a Proud customers.
Its Uncorn customers shall make YKT a Unicorn company soon.
